Easyweb
Easier site ownership.
The technology behind a modern website or digital service should work flawlessly without requiring technical expertise for maintenance or extensive training to manage daily content work. Easyweb is a Swedish headless CMS focused on simplicity, security, and flexibility, and is currently powering many of Sweden's websites, both for public companies with high security requirements - and small local businesses where long-term sustainability, simplicity, and security are important.
We host our customers who use Easyweb on their own virtual secure servers at Binero, and websites created with Easyweb can easily be taken over by other developers, external or internal teams - for a high degree of flexibility and long-term sustainability. Because Easyweb is headless, any programming language can be used for the website's front-end - and we at Sphinxly use our own .NET framework, which you as a customer can also access. Easyweb is incredibly flexible and always starts from design, user experience, and the visitor's journey - while content maintenance is fast, smooth, and streamlined.

Can I edit my content with Easyweb?
Yes. You can easily edit your content on your website with Easyweb - without risking anything breaking.
Technical answer: Instead of building a site structure with plugins and code from third parties, a custom source code is created specifically for your web design/structure. For each type of data (text, image, video, etc.) that needs to be editable, a custom control is linked in Easyweb. This makes administration easier and more user-friendly, as well as completely tailored to your needs, preferences, and level of expertise.
This makes your website faster, less vulnerable - and easier to manage.
How to handle hosting / data storage with Easyweb?
We host websites for our customers on Easyweb's servers at Binero Group AB. (publ.) You also have the option to handle the hosting of your website yourself and take ownership of the source code. All data is stored in Sweden, including visitor data in embedded Easyweb analytics.
Can multiple people work in Easyweb at the same time?
Yes, you can easily invite your team and colleagues to collaborate on the content work on your website(s). You can also set different levels of permissions.
What are the advantages of "headless"?
Choosing between a "headless CMS" and a traditional CMS (such as WordPress) depends on your specific needs and goals for your website or application. Both options have their own advantages and disadvantages. Here are some advantages of a headless CMS:
Flexibility in design and presentation: In a headless CMS, the frontend and backend are separate. This means you have greater flexibility when it comes to designing and customizing the user interface. You can use modern frontend technologies and customize the presentation for different devices and channels.
Multi-platform distribution: With a headless CMS, you can easily distribute your content to various platforms such as websites, mobile apps, voice assistants, and IoT devices. You are not tied to a specific website structure or design.
Better performance: Since the content is delivered via API calls and is not tied to a monolithic web application like WordPress, a headless architecture can deliver faster performance and better scalability.
Increased security: Since the frontend and backend are separated, a headless CMS environment can be more secure because any vulnerabilities in the frontend code do not necessarily affect the underlying database or server.
Better team collaboration: With developers and content creators able to work independently of each other, a headless architecture promotes better collaboration between technical and creative teams.
Scalability and future-proofing: Headless CMS environments are often more scalable and future-proof because you can easily adapt and add new features, platforms, and technologies over time without having to restructure the entire system.
What happens to my website if I want to switch from Sphinxly?
You own your own website, your data, and your content, and you can take over the hosting and management of your website yourself if you want to hire an external party to further develop your website without Sphinxly. All source code, documentation, and other necessary information are available at www.easyweb.se.
Can I easily fetch/export data from Easyweb?
Yes. When you are logged in to Easyweb, simply click on the small "cloud" icon at the top of the blue field, and you can easily extract all the data from your Easyweb configuration. (You customize the structure via the Tool icon in the same field (the wrench).
Is it easy to switch to a different technical platform from Easyweb?
It is often easier to switch platforms for a website that is built "headless" than one that is built on a specific system like WordPress, for example. With Easyweb, it is easy to switch CMS to another one as the source code is clearly documented and structured. The code developed by Sphinxly can be easily adapted to be used with another CMS.
Is there documentation available?
Yes, there is detailed documentation and video tutorials under developer resources at Easyweb.se.
Can I import a website created in, for example, WordPress TO Easyweb?
Many people who use WordPress or WooCommerce eventually need to switch to a different technical platform. This can be due to security issues, performance, technical complexity, or simply wanting to build a web solution that is easier to manage. Migrating a website/shop/website from WordPress to Easyweb is generally not a problem, and through the Easyweb/WordPress Import Manager, content can be quickly transferred directly.
Can Easyweb be used for e-commerce?
Easyweb is completely modular, which means that all types of content solutions can be created and easily integrated into modern logistics and CRM platforms.
For e-commerce, there is functionality for Product Data, Order Management, Discount Codes, Import/Export of Prices, Sales Reporting, Customers and Order History, Login Functionality, Ratings, Stock Status, Shipping Options, Payment Integration, and more.
If you are currently using Shopify or WooCommerce, for example, and have outgrown such a solution, or are dissatisfied with performance and a tangle of plugins - please contact us and we can show you how we have solved similar problems for other companies.
Can Easyweb be used for portals/member sites/subscription services/other?
Easyweb is completely modular, which means that all types of content solutions can be created and easily integrated into modern logistics and CRM platforms.
There are many good examples and reference cases where Easyweb acts as the core of all types of custom information solutions, such as member portals with subscriptions via Stripe, news sites, websites for associations and foundations, custom brokerage services, candidate tools, education platforms with one-time purchases and/or subscriptions - and much more.
If you are curious about building a website or digital web service that is a bit "special" - and want to own your source code and not use 3rd party plugins. Easyweb might be what you're looking for. Please contact us for a needs analysis.
How is personal data and other data handled in Easyweb's statistics?
All data in the built-in analytics tool is anonymized, so there are no personal data within the scope of the Personal Data Act and GDPR legislation. Form data and other personal data sent to or through the system are subject to the site owner to handle correctly and in accordance with GDPR and the Personal Data Act. Easyweb provides all the tools required to easily and smoothly, for example, delete or export all data stored about a specific person at the request of a third party.
Site owners (applies to version 23.1 and later) add Third-party scripts such as GTM, Facebook pixels, etc. themselves under "settings" / "site settings" / "custom settings" - and choose whether these scripts belong to the categories Necessary, Marketing, or Statistics. The responsibility for the use of this data belongs to the site owner, not Sphinxly / Easyweb. (If you have a support agreement, we will of course help you with the installation if you want - to ensure it is correct).
