Inquiry Quote / Feasibility Study Current Situation -> Target Image:

Environmental and Sustainability Policy

Should we have to have this conversation in 2023? Our future, the environment, sustainability and long-term good for our planet and our fellow human beings are prerequisites. Should a company really have to take a stand - yes, one can do that. As long as one can avoid greenwashing and having to take a political stance on every issue. After all, we are here to help our clients build really good websites - not dress our image or rhetoric in green leaves and flowers. 🍀

Values

We believe that individual freedom is at the top of the agenda. We do not force any of our employees to do either one or the other. For us, freedom and results are what matters. With freedom, a person can develop and dare to take their own initiatives. With freedom, there is room to think for oneself and the opportunity to do good based on one's own personal values and preferences.

That being said, we have an internal consensus and ambition to conduct our business ethically and well. To make decisions regarding purchases, activities, and subcontractors based on their engagement and impact (direct or indirect) on the environment. And we do that.

However, as a company, you cannot just brag about how much carbon dioxide emissions you compensate for or the environmentally certified paper you buy for the printer - when the rest of the production chain is questionable. You have to dig deeper than that.

We prioritize

  • Human rights, freedom of expression - and the right to have one's own opinions
  • Local over outsourcing
  • Choosing more environmentally friendly alternatives when possible (which is almost always the case)
  • Freedom to choose - but encouragement to choose what is best for both the environment and humanity

What we don't do/like

  • Greenwashing - we don't write a bunch of bullshit just to have an environmental appearance
  • Unethical tax planning. You can have your own opinions about paying taxes, but without us entrepreneurs, there are no books for schools or money for improvements in society. So do good for yourselves - those of you who can. No one likes cheaters (looking at you; gig companies!).

What we actually do

  • We only use Swedish environmentally certified hosting via Easyweb. (Which also provides our customers with higher privacy protection, better performance, and high security)
  • We offer our employees the opportunity to work from home (or wherever they want) - which indirectly eliminates daily commuting and unnecessary communication
  • We like and hire companies that actively work with environmental issues
  • ... and we buy environmentally certified paper and stuff ✌️😎
