We build damn good sites - Unknown philosopher
Sphinxly is a web agency / digital agency with a focus on long-term relationships, engaging design, web production, and fast service and support. We are digital creators, developers, analysts, and idea generators. All in-house, but with a modern WFA 🏄♂️ digital office with physical representation at Banérgatan in Stockholm.
We create graphic identity and build websites, e-commerce and digital experiences that create long-term value for our clients - such as image/positioning, visibility in search engines, as well as increased conversion, sales, and lead generation. Each project starts with a workshop where we go through your target audience, your goal and vision, suitable technical functionality, as well as identity and feeling.
We like clients where we have a fast and transparent dialogue about new ideas, development, and innovation - where we can work closely, long-term, and agile.
Sphinxly is a privately owned agency that started its operations in 2002 in Stockholm. We have the highest credit rating (AAA) according to Bisnode
Sphinxly started 2002 on Lidingö outside Stockholm.
2007 We moved to Banérgatan 39 in Östermalm, Stockholm.
2012 We moved to Linnégatan 80 in Stockholm.
2021-2024 Today, we are a modern hybrid agency where most of the team works remotely or from our studio at Banérgatan 44 in Stockholm - with clients and employees all over the world.
How long have you been around?
Sphinxly was founded in 2002 in Stockholm. First, we were located on Lidingö, then on Banérgatan, then Linnégatan, and now we are located in different places around Sweden with a physical showroom / WFA - once again - on Banérgatan. We have clients all over Sweden.
What is your design policy?
Design and brand building are important to us. Today, a website is the platform where many businesses build their image compared to their competitors, showcase their values - court new potential customers, provide service to existing partners - and attract new talents. Our design policy is to find the best form for each individual client based on the target audience, the purpose of the website, and the vision for the future. Each client project is unique and each design concept is developed completely uniquely together with each client. We work with Figma and develop wireframes, concept sketches, flows, and unique UX for your specific needs - before we write a single line of code. We also offer a design guarantee, which in our world means the following: you will be satisfied - otherwise, we'll eat our digital hats.
How much does a website cost?
Of course, a difficult question to answer. The needs, requirements, and complexity vary greatly - and the budget is adjusted accordingly. We like companies where we have the opportunity to really show what we can do and create a solid foundation and a long-term strategy - but at the same time, we love to help hungry entrepreneurs who are passionate about their cause. Many who have started small with us have grown, and of course, we would love to be part of that journey. Would you like a quote/price? Fill out the form to get a cost estimate directly.
What technology do you use?
We build websites from scratch in the sense that we program in pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as functionality from our comprehensive .NET framework for websites that our agency has developed for over 10 years (and which is also available for free at easyweb.se under "resources"). Developing the source code completely free from a publishing tool is called headless, and enables a greater degree of flexibility, performance, and stability than traditional hosted CMS solutions.
This allows us as an agency to focus more on solving communication, design, and customer journeys - rather than having to search for suitable plugins. And the best part of all - you own your source code. It's clean, fast - and easy to build upon.
After testing, the source code is connected to a customized interface to manage all content, pages, products, texts, flows, landing pages, media (images/videos), structure, and navigation - as well as managing leads, newsletters, and viewing statistics. The interface we use is called Easyweb .NET Headless CMS - and replaces hosting and traditional CMS such as Wordpress or Episerver. Developer resources are available at www.easyweb.se.
What types of clients do you work with?
We help everyone from startups to multinational corporations, agencies, and organizations. The important thing is that you are great to work with and that you are open to innovation. 😊✌️ We have HQ in Stockholm at Banérgatan 44 but work with clients and partners all over Sweden and most of the communication is done digitally.
Our clients are often companies in IT, industry, finance, consulting businesses, as well as startups and growth companies, primarily B2B - but as long as you have ambitions, we are happy to help you on your journey. The needs, requirements, and complexity vary greatly - and the budget is adjusted accordingly. We like companies where we have the opportunity to really show what we can do and create a solid foundation and a long-term strategy - but at the same time, we love to help hungry entrepreneurs who are passionate about their cause. How do you work with search engine optimization (SEO)?
Sphinxly has an in-house SEO team consisting of senior analysts who help you develop a customized optimization program to create higher visibility in search engines and generate relevant traffic. How can I best prepare for a meeting with Sphinxly?
Think about your vision and goals. Why do you want to invest in your digital image and what do you want to achieve? Do you want to generate leads? Create/increase sales? What is not working well today - and what is the dream in 5 years? Try to structure who you want to visit your site (personas/target groups), and what value you want each target group to get from your website. How do you want to be perceived by potential talents who are looking for a job with you? How do you want to be seen in relation to your competitors? What technical requirements do you have, what external systems, if any, should work together with your website - and who will administer it?

What does the process look like? What is step 1?
This is how the process usually looks, roughly:
1) We agree on budget/needs/service level.
2) Kick-off meeting/workshop, where we collectively go through the goal, vision, UX, structure, and how we build your image, communication, and flows for your different target groups.
3) We present structural sketches (wireframe) together with design concepts (UI) for each type of subpage for both mobile and desktop, and adapt these together with you until the concept holds and the design really fits. We do not start from any ready-made templates, but everything is developed uniquely for your business.
4) We get approval and start technical production - where we code unique and optimized code for the best possible performance and accessibility. Effects, animations, and extra flavor are added to create depth and feeling.
5) Quality assurance, Q&A, and testing - where we ensure that your new site works optimally in the most used browsers, resolutions, and different devices.
6) Review, training, content transfer (you take ultimate responsibility for entering content - we support so that it goes smoothly and quickly - and can also help if you want to buy yourself free.
7) Final check, preparation for launch - launch!
8) Compliance with available support via phone and email and ongoing meetings and follow-up for the next step in your new digital costume! 🥂

Do you say hemsida or webbplats?
We usually say site or why not web, but the accepted term is "webbplats". However, "hemsida" is the keyword that generates the most traffic, so you might as well throw in a few "hemsida" and "hemsidor" under some obscure question in the FAQ so that Google finds it too. ✌️
How do you become a Quiz Champ?
By being employed at Sphinxly, or in some other way managing to be invited to one of our internal Weekly VIP quizzes - and scoring the most points in that particular round. In other words, it is no easy feat.
